  1. Identify pain-free movements in climbing

  2. Focus on climbing techniques that are less affected by injured area

BACK ON THE WALL

  1. Use climbing as part of therapy - contained drills on the wall to promote both good technique and correct muscle function

  2. Gradual and strategic exposure to volume and intensity until return to normal function

  3. Develop long term strategies to prevent injury from reoccurring
